When will Black folks take responsibility for their condition. Not all, but more than any other race in the US they fathers aren't around to teach their sons and daughters a work ethic and what sacrifice means. Every other race that has come to America has rose above poverty and worked hard to pass on generational wealth. Years of broken families and crime have led the later generations to incarceration and or gun deaths. The Irish, Italians, Chinese, Arab and Latino overcame institutional racism through hard work, saving money and proving they too can be sucessful. It just tires me to keep hearing "My son is a good boy " when in reality her son is a real criminal. I also understand Africans were forced here and sold as slaves. Thanks to Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War that practice was ended. Freed Black's moved north in droves and by the 5os there was a burgeoning African American middle class...but those future generations, without father, were doomed to fail. So they blame racism and think all people hate them...this is one of many excuses...When will they, as a collective race in the US, finally stop blaming the long ago past and pull their sleeves up and get to work saving money and buying a house to eventually pass it on. Some stereotypes are actually the truth. There's a huge problem when you have young Black kids shooting amd killing eachother.
